Batik designs models

Traditionally, batik sarongs are worn mostly by women and that is the reason that makes it much easier to promote batik fashion to the world. One great way of promoting batik is by including them as part of fashion shows. International fashion show organisers are busy scheduling various fashion show with batik concepts to be held in various venues which include the top fashion cities in the world, Paris, Milan & New York. Model agencies, on the other hand, are busy scouting for new talents who dream to become the next Tyra Banks or could at least become the top batik sarong fashion models.

To what extent does efforts have been placed to bring beautiful batik designs to the world?
Miss Tourism International 2010 is a great example of such efforts. Special written batik were paraded by beauty queens for worldwide admiration.

Another great way to promote batik is by attracting top celebrities, particularly Hollywood celebrities to be batik ambassador. Former England football captain, David Beckham, was once spotted wearing batik in such a fashionable way.

Batik sarongs are no longer a traditional wear for women in South East Asia but it has now find its spot in the international fashion industries. It may soon become preferred cloth by the world renowned fashion designers in their Summer Collections.
